A man was seriously wounded in a shooting in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.

Just after 8 p.m., the 26-year-old was shot in the back in the 4500 block of South Drexel, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
