View image | gettyimages.comDoug McDermott’s alma mater, Creighton University, doesn’t have a football team. That doesn’t mean the second-year Chicago Bulls guard doesn’t have collegiate football allegiances.

McDermott posted a photo of a University of Michigan hat that was sent by Jay Harbaugh, the son of Jim Harbaugh. Jay is the special teams coach of the Wolverines.

The Bulls forward will be following the Michigan football program this season, and let’s hope the Bluejays faithful doesn’t get upset at the all-time Creighton leading scorer.

Note: A previous version of this story incorrectly referenced Creighton having a football team.
