A 34-year-oldmotorcyclistwas killed in a Northwest Side crash with a bicycle Wednesday.

The crash happened about 4:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of West Addison, police said.

Themotorcycle was heading westbound on Addison when ittriedto overtake another vehicle and struck a 36-year-old man on a bicycle, police said. The bicyclist was cutting diagonally across Addison, police said.

The bicyclist was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The motorcyclist, later identified as Dusko Medic of the 3000 block of North Clybourn, was taken to Community First Medical Center before being pronounced dead at 8 p.m. at a northwest suburban organ donation center, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Medic died of multiple injuries in a motor vehicle crash, and his death was ruled an accident.

Police didn’t immediately have information on possible citations or charges in the case.
