A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon in the South Side Oakland neighborhood.

The shooting happened about 4 p.m. in the 600 block of East Pershing, police said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition stabilized, but he wasn’t cooperating with investigators. Police think the shooting was gang-related.
