A 20-year-old man was found shot and killed in an alley on the Far South Side early Sunday.

The man was discovered unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds at 5 a.m. in the 11700 block of South LaSalle, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the death but could not release his name at 11:15 a.m. because family had not yet been notified.
