4 men shot in West Englewood

Four men were shot in West Englewood on the South Side Sunday night.

A gunman walked up to the group and opened fire about 9:50 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Winchester, according to Chicago Police.

A 24-year-old shot repeatedly and a 25-year-old shot in the buttocks were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. A 19-year-old shot in the leg and arm was taken to Stroger Hospital along with a 25-year-old shot in the back.

The condition of the man 25-year-old at Stroger wasn’t immediately available. The other men’s conditions were stabilized, police said.

About an hour earlier, a 6-year-old girl was shot in the same neighborhood.
