Man shot in West Englewood

A man was shot Thursday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 25-year-old was shot about 10:10 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Marshfield, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said, citing preliminary information.

As of about 11:30 a.m., the victim was being treated at the scene of the shooting, she said.
