SHARE 16-year-old girl missing from Woodlawn for over a week

Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl missing for more than a week from her home in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

Netalya Williams was last seen Aug. 11 in the 6500 block of South Minerva, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. She is known to frequent the areas of 62nd and Stony Island, and 75th and St. Lawrence.

Williams is described as a 5-foot-4, 100-pound black girl with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt and stone-washed blue jeans, with a blue jean shirt wrapped around her waist.
