A man was robbed and shot in the arm Friday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

About 8:10 p.m., someone walked up to the 31-year-old in the 7800 block of South Laflin, stole his cash and then shot him in the arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his conditions stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man has documented gang ties.
