A 28-year-old man was shot in both feet Saturday evening in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 7 p.m. in the 8900 block of South Morgan, police News Affairs Officer Nicole Trainor said.

He took himself to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, Trainor said.

Details on the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available.
