A man was injured in a Humboldt Park neighborhood shooting Saturday night on the West Side.

The man, 23, was seated in a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of North Keeler about 9:30 p.m. when someone walked up to the driver’s side and fired several shots, police said. The shooter then ran away southbound.

The man was shot in both legs and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
