Every week of the 2015 Chicago Bears season, Chicago Sun-Times Sports will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1985 Bears by speaking with players from the team including Jimbo Covert, Dan Hampton, Dennis McKinnon and Otis Wilson.

Dan Hampton, a starting defensive lineman on the 1985 Chicago Bears, has high hopes for John Fox, Jay Cutler and the 2015 Chicago Bears.

“We’re not asking Jay Cutler to be Johnny Unitas,” Hampton said. “Just don’t throw the ball to the idiots on the other team.”
