A man was shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Monday afternoon.

About 1:30 p.m., the 18-year-old was shot in the abdomen in the 5100 block of South Lowe, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, according to police.
