A man who was killed in a Gage Park neighborhood shooting Sunday night on the Southwest Side has been identified.

David Caston, 30, was found about 8:40 p.m. on the street in the 2400 block of West 58th Street with gunshot wounds to the abdomen, groin and shoulder, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Caston, of the 5700 block of West Gunnison, was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:56 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy Monday found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
