SHARE 72-year-old man among two shot in North Lawndale

Two men, including a 72-year-old, were shot Monday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 1500 block of South Kolin about 2 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

The 72-year-old man was shot in the foot,and a 29-year-old man was shot in the shoulder, police said.

Both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions stabilized.

Police said the younger man is a documented gang member
