A 31-year-old man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

At 1 p.m., the man was near the 400 block of Hamlin Avenue when a silver sedan drove past and someone inside shot him, police said.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to both feet. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody late Wednesday, but the shooter is believed to be a gang member, police said.
