John Fox has admitted he’s not the best at explaining health and anatomy issues. We saw it with the Kevin White “shin injury” that turned into surgery for the rookie receiver.

I think, me personally, we tell you the body part and that’s all we have to tell you, Fox said then. We’re not doctors and stick to that. I don’t know. You guys figure that out. I just know that, by league, we’re required to give you a body part, unless it’s a quarterback or kicker, then we don’t even have to tell you which side. I’ve been doing it for 14 years now, that’s the way we do it.

So, here we go again with Fox being wily.

The aptly named Bears coach was asked Wednesday about the current spate of wide receiver injuries and said, “they don’t appear long-term.” When probed more about it, Fox said: “I don’t know what long-term means.”

Sounds like some short-term memory loss.
