A train on Metra’s Union Pacific North line struck a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in north suburban Highwood.

Train No. 325 hit a vehicle at 12:35 p.m. a block south of Highwood Avenue, according to a Metra spokesperson.

The Kenosha-bound train was back on the move 50 minutes after the crash occurred, according to Metra.

No injuries have been reported.
