A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the South Shore neighborhood.

The 34-year-old man was standing outside of a vehicle near 67th and East End about 12:40 a.m. when a gray vehicle approached and someone inside fired at him, police said.

He was shot in the left shoulder and leg and transported himself to University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System, where his condition was stabilized, according to police.
