Police are asking for the public’s help finding a 72-year-old woman missing from the Far South Side since Thursday.

Gladys Haynes was last seen near the 500 block of West 115th Street, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Haynes is described as a 5-foot, 99-pound black woman with brown eyes, gray hair and medium complexion, police said, She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans, and carrying a white cross-body purse. Police said she has an enlarged thyroid.

She may be heading to the 3800 block of South Michigan, police said.
