A man was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 27-year-old was a back-seat passenger in a vehicle in the 12100 block of South Front about 3:10 a.m. when someone fired shots and hit him in the back, police said.

The driver took him to Roseland Community Hospital, and he was later transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, according to police.
