SHARE Watch: Brandon Marshall, Darrelle Revis go head-to-head at Jets camp

Jets fans finally got to see the matchup they’d been waiting for Sunday at training camp: Brandon Marshall vs. Darrelle Revis.

The team’s top defensive player took on their heralded wide receiver who was newly acquired from the Bears.

The drill was head-to-head from the 15-yard line, with the quarterback throwing fade routes into the end zone. They took five snaps.

Here are the results of those snaps, via ESPN:

-Revis made an interception at the goal line and would have returned it for a pick-six (shades of his 100-yard return against Marshall in 2011), but he was flagged for defensive holding. -On a fade into the corner of the end zone, Revis made a one-handed pass break-up. -Revis dropped a would-be interception on an underthrown fade. -Marshall used an inside move to beat Revis for a touchdown. -Marshall and Revis locked up at the goal line (probably should have been a penalty on Revis) and the pass sailed over their heads for an incompletion.

NJ.com captured video of several of the drills.
