A man was slashed in the arm during a fight near City Hall early Tuesday in the Loop.

About 1:45 a.m., two homeless people got into a fight near the intersection of Clark and Randolph, police said.

One suffered a laceration to the arm and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. He was treated and released.

The suspected attacker took off east toward State Street, police said. No one is in custody.
