A man was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood early Sunday on the West Side.

About 3:40 a.m., the 19-year-old was in a vehicle stopped in traffic in the 2800 block of West Augusta when someone walked up and shot him, police said.

He was shot in the hand and taken to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in good condition.

A police source said he is a known gang member.
