A man was shot in the Calumet Heights neighborhood early Sunday on the South Side.

A 52-year-old man was sleeping in his car in the 9100 block of South Anthony about 4:45 a.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain, police said.

He was shot in the ear and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized.
