A 74-year-old woman who suffers from dementia and went missing from Portage Park on the Northwest Side Friday afternoon has been located.

Sandra Mosley’s son dropped her off about 3:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of West Belmont, according to an alert issued Saturday night.

When he returned to pick her up about 11:30 p.m., she was gone along with her gray Wal-Mart bag with her food for the day, the alert said.

The woman was found safely in the 200 block of North LaSalle, police announced late Sunday. No other details were released.
