SHARE Police issue alert after burglaries in Gage Park

A burglary alert has been issued by Chicago Police after three incidents this month in Gage Park on the Southwest Side.

Police said offenders enter residencies during various hours of the day and take property once inside.

The incidents were reported in the 2100 block of West 52nd Place during daytime and evening hours, and in the 5200 block of South Hoyne Avenue during daytime hours, police said.

Police advise for residents to immediately fix any broken windows or doors, and if video surveillance is available save and make a copy for investigation.
