Len Kasper posed an innocuous question to Cubs fans via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon and generated an impassioned response.
Here was the question:
Responses came from fans, reporters, broadcasters, bloggers and everyone in between. The consensus, somewhat surprisingly, appears to be that most people dislike the name Cubbies.

@LenKasper I prefer Cubs but Cubbies is fine in certain contexts (i.e. "root, root, root for the Cuuuubbies). I've got no problem w/ it.
