A 60-year-old woman was injured in a Jeffery Manor neighborhood shooting Friday morning on the South Side.
About 7:55 a.m., the woman was inside her home in the 9600 block of South Crandon when she suffered a graze wound to the right side of her forehead, police said.
Police said the shot came from gunfire that erupted from an unknown location outside the home.
The woman was treated and released at the scene, police said.
