A man was wounded in a shooting Friday night in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The 25-year-old was walking in the 3800 block of West Chicago about 11:30 p.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, police said.

He walked into Stroger Hospital about 8 a.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound to the left leg, and his condition was stabilized, according to police.
