A man was shot early Saturday in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 33-year-old was shot about 5:30 a.m. in the 5600 block of South Prairie, according to police.

He transported himself to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand about 7 a.m., police said. He was listed in good condition.
