A man was killed and woman was wounded in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side Tuesday afternoon.

About 4:47 p.m., the 18-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were shot in the 6100 block of West Fullerton, police said.

The man was shot in the back and taken to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead at 10 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Orlando Calderon of the 5000 block of West Fullerton.

The woman was shot in the leg and her condition had stabilized, police said. She was also taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
