A 35-year-old woman was pulled from the Chicago River after jumping in Thursday morning on the North Side.

The woman tried to commit suicide by jumping into the river in the 1500 block of West Webster at 8:40 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

The Police Marine Unit pulled her from the water, and she was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
