Police are warning Crystal Lake residents of multiple burglaries reported early Thursday in the northwest suburb.

Around 3:20 a.m., officers responded to a call of a suspicious person who may have been removing items from a vehicle in the 600 block of Leonard Parkway, according to Crystal Lake police.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-7, 18-to 21-year-old white man with curly dark hair and glasses, police said.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, zippered in the front, black pants and carrying a black backpack, possibly riding a black BMX style bicycle, police said.

Evidence from the incidents was collected and the burglaries remains under investigation by Crystal Lake police.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Crystal Lake Police Department at (815) 356-3620.
