Crash-and-grab burglars struck a clothing store in the South Shore neighborhood early Thursday.

A white pickup smashed through the front door of The Shop 147 at 7225 S. Stony Island Ave. a few minutes before 3 a.m., according to police.

An unknown number of suspects got out of the van, grabbed merchandise and left in a waiting black van, police said. That van drove off northbound on Stony Island.

No one was in custody early Thursday.

Another location of The Shop 147 was hit in a similar crash-and-grab in July.

Two male suspects crashed a minivan into the store’s Beverly outpost in the 2300 block of West 95th Street at 4:17 a.m. on July 2.

The would-be burglars ran away after crashing and did not steal any items, police said at the time.
