A man was shot multiple times Saturday evening in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
About 5:30 p.m., the 24-year-old was seated in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle in the 8800 block of South Wood when a blue car pulled alongside and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and hip and was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
