A 64-year-old woman was shot early Saturday when a bullet came through the window of a West Garfield Park neighborhood home on the West Side.

About 2:50 a.m., the woman was inside a home in the 3800 block of West Monroe when shots were fired outside and a bullet came through the window, police said.

She was shot in the leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
