One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon in north suburban North Chicago.

About 4:15 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired and a person down in the 1400 block of Hervey Avenue, according to North Chicago police.

Anthony A. Sosa, 23, of Waukegan, was found shot and was taken to a hospital, where he later died, a statement from police said.

A 27-year-old Zion man was also shot, though his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, police said.

A witness told reporters at the scene that a group of people were outside on the block filming a video when shots rang out.
