An 18-year-old woman was shot in both legs Tuesday afternoon in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

The attack happened about 12:05 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Prairie, according to Chicago Police.

She was dropped off at the University of Chicago Medical Center with wounds to both legs and later transferred to Mount Sinai, where her condition stabilized, police said.
