A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Tuesday afternoon.

A 20-year-old man was outside in the 5000 block of West Le Moyne Street at 4:38 p.m. when the suspect “emerged from the alley” and shot him in the leg. The suspect then drove away, police said.
