A man was injured in a West Englewood neighborhood drive-by shooting early Sunday on the South Side.

The man, 19, was walking on the sidewalk in the 5800 block of South Laflin about 4:20 a.m. when a black vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the shoulder and was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
