A shooting in the Washington Park neighborhood left one person wounded Monday night.

About 9:30 p.m., a male — whose age was not known late Monday — was shot in the chest in the 5100 block of South Prairie, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, but his condition was also not known, police said.
