During the Cubs off day on Thursday, all the players are spending it differently. As for first baseman Anthony Rizzo, he’s spending his day off at Giordano’s Pizza on Rush St.

Rizzo, who’s family originated from Sicily, learned how to make Sicilian style pizzas. The Cubs first baseman served 11 pizzas, that he made, to 11 lucky tables at Giordano’s.

The customers looked pleased to have the 26-year-old first baseman as their chef, and maybe Rizzo has found his calling for when he retires from the MLB.
