SHARE 41-year-old man shot to death in Humboldt Park

A 41-year-old man was shot to death Wednesday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was shot in the chest about 2:35 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Harding, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the death but withheld his name pending family notification.

Police did not have details on the circumstances of the shooting.
