Chicago Police are cautioning West Side residents after a series of apartment burglaries in the Humboldt Park neighborhood last month.
One or more burglars broke in through the front and back doors of apartments to steal jewelry and cash, according to a community alert issued Friday afternoon by 11th District police.
The burglaries happened:
— between 7 p.m. and midnight Dec. 17 in the 800 block of North Ridgeway;
— between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 19 in the 3700 block of West Division; and
— about 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 3900 block of West Division.
Police don’t have a description of any possible subjects. They urge residents to keep doors and windows locked.
