A 19-year-old woman was shot while riding as a passenger in a car on Lake Shore Drive Friday afternoon in Uptown.
The vehicle she was in was heading northbound near Lawrence when someone opened fire from a red four-door Kia, striking her in the right thigh, according to Chicago Police.
The driver took her to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
