Two men shot in South Chicago

SHARE Two men shot in South Chicago

Two 18-year-old men were wounded in a South Chicago neighborhood shooting late Sunday afternoon.

They were walking on a sidewalk in near 80th Street and South Shore Drive about 5:30 p.m. when a gunman walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

One was shot in the back and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and the other was taken to Stroger Hospital with gunshot wounds to the back and elbow and a graze to the leg. Their conditions were both stabilized, police said.
