Two women were shot Friday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The women, ages 20 and 21, were outside in the 4100 block of West Adams about 1:50 p.m. when two men on the street started arguing with each other and one started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The younger woman was shot in the abdomen and the older in the hand, police said.

They took themselves to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they were listed in good condition.
