SEEN ON THE SCENE: Before winging her way west — where Taraji P. Henson won the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV drama for her fun-to-watch performances as Cookie on “Empire” — the actress was spotted enjoying cocktails with three galpals the other night at STK Chicago. … Among recent Mastro’s sightings have been those of the Bulls’ Jimmy Butler and (separately) the Celtics’ Jared Sullinger. … Congrats go out to Jimmy Place and his partner Ryan McGuire for being named Midwest directors for the TRF Foundation — launched by the superstar band Imagine Dragons to help battle children’s pediatric cancer. … In addition, Place and McGuire just joined forces this week with John Credidio Jr., owner of Chicago Studio City, to produce and stage private events at the venue, where a number of major film and TV projects have been shot over the years. … Chanel West Coast had things hopping at Parliament Chicago the other night as the rapper performed some tracks from her debut mixtape, “Now You Know,” as well as some songs off of her upcoming debut studio album, set for release later this year.
