Three men wounded in Armour Square shooting

Three men were shot Monday night as they were walking in the Armour Square neighborhood on the South Side.

The three were walking in the 3800 block of South Wells about 9:20 p.m. when someone in a passing white SUV shot them, police said.

A 21-year-old man was shot several times in the left thigh and was listed in serious condition. Another man, 38, was shot in the right hip and his condition had stabilized, police said. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital.

The third man, 25, suffered a graze wound to his left hip and refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.
